Iwona Blazwick commissioned Raw Edges to create a bookstand. As a life-long collector of books, books are something of great importance to Blazwick, as well as to the Whitechapel gallery as books and catalogues are a constant feature in their exhibitions. One thing she loves about books is their tactility, and as wood is a very tactile material, it seemed the perfect material for the stand.
