The demarcations between work and home are increasingly blurred; we seem to want to domesticate the workplace and make our office environments friendlier and reflect personal tastes. Curated and designed by international design magazine Wallpaper*, the Wallpaper* Workspace exhibition presents a radical new vision of how and where we should spend our working lives. Octopus, designed by architect Adam Khan, sits at the heart of this exhibition. Together with the other pieces on display, it shows how personalised, cleverly domesticated workspaces can encourage creativity, motivation, loyalty and honest graft whilst simultaneously making a subtle but powerful statement about a businesses’ identity.
