Don Chairs

Famous in Australia for work that unifies functionality with aesthetic, multi award winning designer Goodrum created the ‘Don chairs’.  Goodrum’s inspiration was to exploit the amazing strength and stability of American tulipwood. His design ‘drapes’ a timber seat and back over a refined frame.

The tulipwood and cherry used to make the Don chairs would take just 0.23 seconds to grow in the US hardwood forest. The combined carbon footprint of 3 chairs is 99kg, the equivalent of that produced by the average Australian in just 45 hours.
