The 5 designs were made by Fowseng, Malaysia. Founded in 1969, Fowseng prides itself in thinking differently about manufacturing fine furniture. Underpinned by a culture of open-mindedness and tenacity, they have become renowned for their attention to detail and create furniture for brands including Liberty of London, Ligne Roset and Heals. They focus on taking well-conceived designs and developing them into well-made products. Working only with American timber and employing the latest technology, combined with an understanding of the tools and skills of the traditional craftsman, they produce furniture pieces that made to last, both physically and aesthetically. 

For this project, the Fowseng team captured all the manufacturing data required to conduct the full Lifecycle analysis. Their commitment to environmental transparency was particularly appreciated in this project given the high volume of furniture that Fowseng make for overseas markets and demands on their time. The skill of their craftsmen is evident in the exemplary finish of this bespoke collection, which is why they are Yong’s manufacturing partner of choice.
