The Circle

The Circle is a research and production platform for architecture, design, art and culture.

It focuses on the interactions between architecture and design as well as the disciplines that intersect with them. In this context, it develops projects by coming together with different stakeholders; organizes exhibitions, panels, seminars, workshops, and hosts culture and art projects.

The Circle was founded in Istanbul in 2018 by Selçuk Avcı, Sanja Jurca Avcı, Markus Lehto, Eda Çarmıklı, Yüksel Demir, Kemal Seyhan, Nurgül Türker, Dilara Tekin Gezginti and Ece Çakır Aidan.

In line with its multidisciplinary structure, The Circle brings together architects, designers, artists, academics and unique people from different disciplines. It creates an ever-expanding creative circle that includes everyone who enjoys research and discovery.

Yonga Mobilya

Founded in 1974 in Denizli, Turkiye, Yonga manufactures high quality furniture made from natural solid wood and veneers in its state of the art factory of 20,000 m2 on a site of 22,000 m2.

Having first manufactured furniture for the State Supply Office, Yonga went on to specialize in contract manufacturing and decoration for hundreds of hotels including The Antalya Sheraton, The Istanbul Marmara, The Pamukkale, The Istanbul Richmond Hotels and The Bodrum Sea Garden Holiday Village.

Having started in 2001 to export quality furniture to well known brands in the UK, including Marks & Spencer and Ercol, they are one of the largest cabinet furniture suppliers to M&S and are now also supplying to John Lewis.

With an annual capacity of 90,000 furniture units in both assembled and knock down form, an export capacity of 600 containers, an average of 320 employees and processing of up to 6,000 m3 of solid wood, they are the largest solid hard wood furniture producer in Turkiye.
