About us
For over three decades, the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) has been revolutionising the global timber industry. We've been the steady hand behind the scenes, showcasing the exceptional performance, sustainability, and timeless beauty of American hardwoods on a worldwide scale.
At AHEC, we're not just about timber – we're about sparking creativity and fostering collaboration. Through our exhibitions, partnerships, and innovative projects, we shine a spotlight on the endless possibilities of working with timber and bring attention to its environmental benefits. Some examples of our creative projects include Connected and Discovered, in collaboration with the Design Museum and London Design Festival; Class of ‘24 in collaboration with Wallpaper* for Salone Del Mobile; and No.1 Common for 3daysofdesign.
