Sapphire was influenced by the traditional Tansu cabinetry, native to Japan, for her side table. Its purpose is for storing and serving tea, a twist on a coffee table. Hand-crafted brass fences are decorative yet functional in acting as a barrier. The middle shelf is veneered whilst all other elements are made from solid American red oak.
