Perpetuum Mobile

Perpetuum Mobile is a collaboration between AHEC and EMBT that brings together recreations of nine furniture pieces and objects that acclaimed Spanish designer and architect, Enric Miralles, designed alongside his partner, Benedetta Tagliabue, for their home in Barcelona, Spain, before his premature death in 2000. The furniture designs, which have never been put into commercial production, include tables, seating and shelving designed between 1992 and 1999, and have been reinterpreted by carpentry workshop, La Navarra, in a selection of U.S. red oak, cherry, maple and tulipwood.

The exhibition will be on display as part of Interni Design Re-Generation at Universita Degli Studi di Milano (University of Milan) from  6–13 June 2022.
