Takahiro Tsuji has been involved in promoting American hardwoods since the opening of the AHEC office in Osaka, Japan in 1992. In particular, he has been developing the "Eco Furniture Project" and "Eco Interior Project" since 2001 to raise awareness of the effective use of American hardwoods among Japanese furniture manufacturers, architects, and designers, and is also actively working to introduce less known species of American hardwoods.
